Although recommended for short-term pain relief in endometriosis, gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist treatment has high pain recurrence rates after discontinuation, according to a bulletin from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. (Source: MedPage Today OB/GYN)
